Thank you for spending these 20 days investing in God’s Word and letting Him work in you. We covered some broad categories: becoming the right person before looking for the right person; honoring and valuing women; not blaming others but accepting responsibility; and following God’s design for sex and marriage.

As this 20 Day Challenge ends, may you continue to grow and change more and more for God’s glory. In 2 Peter 1, Peter is challenging his readers to add to their faith certain qualities. When they do, Peter says these qualities keep them from being “ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus" (v. 8). Here’s the truth: we need to add these same qualities. Spiritual growth doesn’t happen unintentionally; we do not drift into godliness. It takes work, effort, denying ourselves and sin, and following hard after righteousness.

Evaluate:

  • How did God grow and change you in these last 20 days?

  • What weakness, sin, or weight may be hindering your spiritual growth?

Reflect:

  • What quality in verse 5-7 stands out to you to add to your faith?
